Lovely stuff, Harry. I love the way you weave the memories in with the contemporary visit. You knowledge of art and your generous sharing of the impact of the Rijksmuseum experience on your appreciation makes me regret I haven’t been. Still time, of course. I visited Amsterdam only a couple of times, most recently on a work trip for Fujitsu. I was delighted to be able to take JoJo who took the train out to Leiden to visit a cousin. We’ve become big fans of modern ferries ... a whole different experience to the old Zeebruge trips I did as a school kid. Barrie
