Great piece - reminds me that in my days as a Greek Orthodox alter boy, I could have told you the formula for determining Greek Easter. But that knowledge lapsed along with other things.

Glad you liked it Peter and I think orthodox Easter still uses the Julian calendar so would be a couple of weeks later (I'm no expert though)

Yes, lots of schools etc up here carry his name as did one of the houses in my school. He and Cuthbert (whose coffin the monks carried around for years until finally settling on the city that became Durham as his resting place)
